Proof & Pneumatic Testing Per Roll
Many factories in China mornitor PTFE tubing only by vernier caliper and naked eyes, in order to save cost. But that is hard to find crazing on tube or leakage, not to mention tension strength of tubes.
Suniu factory use professional machines to do complete inspection(NOT sampling inspection) of each roll tube(100m/roll): Proof pressure test(double working pressure) and Pneumatic test(leakaging testing).

After testing, we will sift tubing don't withstand intended operating pressure. There are many different reasons to cause such phenomenon. Such as improper sintering, solvent not dried totally, substance in green compact, etc | Crazing is small cracks close to the surface of PTFE tube. It is difficult to find it if not test. However crazing will become cracks after being used for some time. | Some tubing will leaks because of improper production process or other problem. It will be harmful as fluoroplastic usually used in punishing conditions | Many factories in China use substandard PTFE resins to reduce cost. But such tube will be with very low pressure rating. It is difficult to find it if judge by naked eyes. However, pneumatic testing will help us find problem easily. | |||||||||
